Forget New Year's Resolution Find YOUR Word Instead!
This year has taught us to remain flexible but focused on what is most important. Unpredictable things can happen, but you can remain in alignment with your highest goals and self no matter all changes or happens around you. That is how we learn to live in alignment. Choosing a WORD (or words) for the year can help you stay on purpose and alignment no matter what.
Furthermore, in my experience as a nutritionist, I have found that the typical New Year's resolutions can be a recipe for future guilt. "Get fit" sounds like a sensible goal to have, but it doesn't feel very inspiring. Even the more specific “Go to the gym twice a week” has failure built in. You either go to the gym twice a week or you don’t — there’s no room for any other outcome (and that's when we beat ourselves up for "failing").
Instead if we choose a word like ENERGISED or even STRONG affects us in a completely different way. They encourage us to make better choices. They EMPOWER rather than order, INSPIRE rather than judge. You can't "break" a word like you can break a resolution. The word (or words!) you choose is there to inspire you whenever you need it. Your word is your ally. It might infuse its wisdom through every single day of 2021.
This workshop will:
- Help you to find the right word to inspire your year, through an exploring process with helpful worksheets.
- Reflect on 2020 to help us guide and stay in alignment in 2021.
